How To Immediately Renew Your Mind in 10 Ways

  1. Read Your Bible

Ephesians 4:20 - 24: But that is not the way you learned Christ!— assuming that you have heard about him and were taught in him, as the truth is in Jesus, to put off your old self, which belongs to your former manner of life and is corrupt through deceitful desires, and to be renewed in the spirit of your minds, and to put on the new self, created after the likeness of God in true righteousness and holiness.

2. Pray To God

3. Take a Quiet Walk

Enjoying a quiet peaceful walk in nature allows us to see the beauty in God’s creation. Fresh air will always do some good for you.

4. Journal

Journaling helps you to gain some control of your thoughts. It often helps to jot your things down on paper such as your goals or grocery list so you can clearly identify what they are and how to plan or redirect them if needed.

5. Schedule Scripture Reminders

Let’s be honest. We don’t always feel it in our spirit to read the word or open the Bible app. But something you CAN do is schedule scripture reminders ahead of time for whatever hour of the day, so you can always have a scripture to meditate on during the day. All you have do is save your favorite bible scripture to your reminders list and schedule it for a specific time daily!

6. Encourage Yourself

Our negative self talk can be so ingrained in us, that we’re not even aware it’s happening sometimes. If you notice yourself making fun of yourself (albeit jokingly), counter that with a life affirming word.

7. Listen to Uplifting Music

Oh boy! What some good music will do for your soul! Check out my Spotify playlist for some holy jams. When you remember how good God is, His sovereignty, His sacrifice and His grace, your worries will seem like nothing compared to Him.
